Did you know?

Our bodies can lose 3-8% muscle mass per decade after age 30. Our muscles lose 10-15% of their size and strength after age 50. In addition to that, by the time we reach 40, we also begin to lose bone mass. We can lose 1-3% of our bone mass each year over the age of 50.

you can fight these statistics. Exercise, specifically strength training, is one of the best ways to combat these conditions. Exercise helps increase muscle mass and bone density. It has also been shown to help reduce depression and anxiety, improve sleep, boost self-esteem and body image. On top of all of that, it also promotes a positive mood.
